No. Build Alpha is point-and-click. You can optionally extend it with custom Python signals, if desired (not required).
Yes. Upgrade within 30 days and apply your subscription payments toward Lifetime. Lifetime upgrades include a $197 conversion fee, so purchasing Lifetime upfront remains the best value.
Yes. There is data included back to 2006 and updated regularly. You can also connect to your broker/data provider to use their historical and live data. Additionally, you can import any file format and Build Alpha can convert for accurate use. Any questions just let me know.
Unfortunately, no. I am a one-man shop and cannot support tons of free trials. Additionally, I give everything up front. Too many would test what they need or build what they want and never wind up licensing the software. I have to be fair to the other traders and myself. I hope that is understandable. I have put tons of videos here: Build Alpha Demo.
Exports are designed to match. Differences can occur due to data feeds, session settings, commissions, and execution assumptions. If you run into trouble just reach out. There are step-by-step guides for each platform and I’m always here. A few examples below – click to expand.
