Hello,

I would like to know if I can manage position sizing without coding.

I would like to test an strategy that buy 10 contracts with simetrial stops and target. However, for example, a target of 10ticks and a stop of 10ticks but its able to sale 9 contract as soon as it made 3 ticks.

Is that possible without coding?

Thanks

Hey,

No, scaling is not supported option at this time. Regardless, scaling should be treated as individual strategies when analyzing and combined together in portfolio mode, if desired. For example, create strategy with target 1. Create second strategy with target 2 (both use same entry). This would then be combined in portfolio mode to simulate a '2 exit' strategy or pseudo scaling out. Furthermore, please watch the videos on stops to understand why setting static targets based on ticks/points creates systems that will fail as markets evolve. BA uses dynamic levels; video on exits explains this in detail.

Thanks,

David

Is there capability for trailing stops? So instead of setting exit and target criteria, I can just use a trail stop?

No, not currently. We've already talked about this? It is highly requested and coming soon.

Thanks,

David
