Just noticed this:

For EUR/JPY: $10,000 / 1.2398 (current EUR/USD exchange rate) = 8,066 units which checks out on my broker.

For GBP/JPY: $10,000 / 1.3976 (current GBP/USD exchange rate) = 7,155 units which also checks out on my broker.

So, the same formula works just fine even if it's a yen pair. If the pair starts with USD like USD/CAD, USD/JPY etc then the exchange rate would just be 1, so:

For USD/CAD: $10,000 / 1 = 10,000 units

For USD/JPY: $10,000 / 1 = 10,000 units

There really is no need for anything else in my MC function if the position doesn't need to take SL/risk into account.
